The Kwara State College of Nursing Sciences, Oke-Ode (KWCONOO), Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, has joined Muslims worldwide in celebrating this year’s Mawlud Nabiyyi, which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
In a goodwill message issued today by the College’s Chief Press Secretary, AbdulHafeez Oyewole, on behalf of the Provost, Alhaji Olanrewaju AbdulQaudri, the institution described the occasion as a time for reflection on the noble virtues and exemplary lifestyle of the Prophet (SAW).
The statement highlighted the Prophet’s enduring values of compassion, humility, truthfulness, justice, and selfless service to humanity, noting that these align with the mission of KWCONOO to nurture caregivers who embody empathy, discipline, and excellence.
The Provost urged staff, students, and the wider community to use the celebration to embrace peace, tolerance, and unity, stressing the need for kindness and respect in building a progressive society.
While congratulating Muslims on the occasion, Alhaji AbdulQaudri prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the Ummah and for peace and prosperity in the nation.
