As Muslims across the world usher in the New Islamic Year, 1448 AH, Prince Lekan Adewoye, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Kwara South, Kwara State, Nigeria, and the global Muslim community on the commencement of the new Hijrah year.
In his New Hijrah message, Prince Adewoye described the occasion as a period for deep reflection, spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and rededication to the values of peace, justice, compassion, and service to humanity.
He urged Muslims to draw inspiration from the historic Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), which symbolizes sacrifice, perseverance, faith, and commitment to righteousness, stressing that the lessons of the migration remain relevant in addressing contemporary social and economic challenges.
Prince Adewoye prayed for divine guidance for leaders at all levels and for continued peace, progress, and prosperity in Kwara South, Kwara State, Nigeria, and the world at large.
He concluded by wishing all Muslims a peaceful, rewarding, and spiritually fulfilling New Hijrah Year.
"Happy New Hijrah 1448 AH. May Allah accept our acts of worship and make the new Islamic year a source of blessings, mercy, and fulfillment for all." Ameen.
