Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulates the State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) on the successful conclusion of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and elections that produced a new set of executives led by Mr. Ogunade Gabriel.
The Governor, who expressed his hearty congratulations in a today's statement issued by Abdulrafiu Agboola Mashood, Deputy Chief Press Secretary, Government House, Ilorin and made available to Factual Naija News, described NIPR as a vital ally in advancing the government’s development objectives.
He noted that the AGM’s theme, which focused on the socio-economic outlook of Kwara as a rising force in the comity of states, reflects the profession’s commitment to shaping public discourse and driving progress.
“Public relations is no longer just about perception. It is about partnerships for development. Kwara NIPR has proven this by aligning its agenda with our administration’s goals for inclusive growth, infrastructure, and human capital development,” the Governor said in the statement.
He wished Mr. Ogunade Gabriel and the new executive council a remarkable tenure marked by innovation, integrity, and stronger collaboration with government, the media, and the people of Kwara State.
The Governor expressed confidence that the new leadership will deepen ethical standards and position Kwara as a model for strategic communication nationwide.
