The Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of the Head of a private radio station in Kwara State, Tiwa N Tiwa (TNT) FM 102.5, located in Ijagbo, Oyun Local Government Area. The deceased, Alhaji Nurain Yemi Zubair, was described as a distinguished broadcaster whose passing is both shocking and saddening.
In a tribute circulated among media organizations across Kwara State, the National Coordinator of the group, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim, described the late Zubair as a trusted friend and dependable brother who contributed immensely to the growth of professional and high-quality media practice in the state.
He noted that the deceased’s religious devotion and commitment to community service will not be forgotten, while praying that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings and grants him Al-Jannah Firdaus.
The group also urged his wife, family, and other dependants to remain steadfast and trust in Almighty Allah, who is ever-caring and merciful.
Furthermore, the Muslim Media Watch Group called on individuals in positions of authority, regardless of religion or ethnicity, to reflect on the inevitability of death, which marks the end of earthly life. It reminded all that every soul will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment to account for their deeds before Almighty Allah.
While expressing gratitude to Allah for a life well spent by the late broadcaster, Alhaji Ibrahim emphasized that just as death is inevitable for all mortals, so too is resurrection certain.
He concluded by urging everyone to remain steadfast in faith, committed to righteous deeds, and mindful of their ultimate return to Allah, who alone determines the time, place, and manner of death, as guided in the Holy Qur’an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
