The Guild of Digital Journalists (GDJ) in Kwara State has expressed appreciation to Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq for Appointing its member, Muhammad O. AbdulAzeez, as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on New Media to the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
In a statement issued by the Guild’s Secretariat on behalf of its Chairman, Opeyemi Adeoti, the Guild expressed appreciation to Governor AbdulRazaq for considering one of its members for the important responsibility.
The Guild described AbdulAzeez’s appointment as well deserved and commended the Governor for recognising his member with the opportunity to serve in the state government.
It further expressed confidence in his new assignment and prayed for a successful tenure, effective discharge of his responsibilities and the successful execution of the mandates attached to the office.
The Guild wished AbdulAzeez success in his new role, expressing hope that his appointment would provide another opportunity for meaningful contributions to the development of the state, particularly in the area of digital communication and new media engagement.
