Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has joined family and the people of the state to celebrate the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)‘s overall best qualifying candidate for the 2024 Diet Examination, Miss Fatima Azumi Isa.
This is made known in a statement issued today by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye.
Fatima, who scored the overall highest average score in the exam nationwide, is billed to receive three prestigious awards, such as the ICAN Merit Prize for First Overall Professional Level, SWAN Prize for Best Qualifying Female Candidate in the Diet, and Akintola Williams Deloitte and Touché Prize for Best Qualifying Candidate in a Diet.
Governor Abdulrazaq, in the statement commended Fatima, who had graduated from the Igbinedion University with a first class degree in Accounting in the 2023/2024 session, for making her parents and Kwara State proud with her sterling academic achievements.
He similarly congratulated Fatima’s parents — Alhaji Abubakar Yaya Isa, FCNA, a retired deputy accountant general of Kwara State, and Hajia Adama Isa, FCTI — for the right upbringing and the culture of excellence that obviously inspired the whiz kid.
The Governor finally wished Miss Fatima, a native of Lafiagi, more successes, long life, and good health as she attains greater heights in the future.
