The Osi Youth Council which is the Apex body of all Osi Youths home and in diaspora has applauded the Executive Governor of Kwara State and Chairman Nigeria Governor's Forum, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the commencement of academic activities in the Kwara South campus of the Kwara State University (KWASU) located in Osi in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The President of Osi Youth Council, Mr. Kayode Ògbòrògàn who led members of the excos on a visit to the campus said the development was a promise fulfilled by the current administration.
He assured the government of their maximum cooperation and readiness to support the security apparatus put in place to protect lives and properties in the campus.
In a statement jointly signed by the President of Osi Youth Council, Mr. Kayode Bamidele Ògbòrogàn and the Publicity Secretary, Mallam Jamiu Agólúajé, also appealed to the governor to engage the youths of Kwara South and Ekiti local government in the skilled and unskilled job opportunities of the Campus.
The Head of the Campus, Prof. Binta Ajibola Sulyman, who confirmed the commencement of academic session of the school, equally appreciated the efforts of Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and the VC for taking the bold step in seeing to the actualization of the project.
The Youth also congratulated the Olosi of Osi Kingdom, HRM Oba Saliu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku I, who is the Chairman Ekiti Traditional Council, All Obas in Kwara South, sons and daughters of Ekiti local Government for this great achievement.
