The Kwara State Residents Registration Agency, KWASRRA, is set to commence students’ residents registration for all Tertiary Institutions across the State.
A statement by Jatto Shukurat Adenike,
Press Secretary, KWASRRA, stated that the Acting General Manager, Kwara State Residents Registration Agency, Mr. Tajudeen Jimoh, disclosed this recently while featuring on "Network Kwara", a programme on KWTV.
Mr. Jimoh mentioned that the Agency has designed a website to commence the registration of students, stating that the website has been programmed in such a way that the students will log in, fill in their required information and visit the KWASRRA centres for capturing and thumbprint.
While speaking on the mop-up registration, the Ag. General Manager said it was scheduled to hold in order to ensure that all the civil servants partake in the registration following the circular of "No KWASRRA Registration, No November Salary".
"There are three categories of civil servants who showed up for the mop-up registration. Those that have not registered due to issues on the National Identification Number (NIN); those that have completed the registration and have received the State Security Identification (SSID) but due to certain issues, the SSID got misplaced; and those who failed to present themselves for the registration because they assumed it was not necessary", he said.
"A template has been designed by the Agency and has been given out to civil servants who misplaced their SSID to fill in their NIN and phone numbers for SSID to be sent to them in less than 24 hours by our technical officers”, Mr. Jimoh added.
The Ag. General Manager reiterated that the registration is a continuous process and will give room for all the residents of the State to be successfully registered.
Mr. Jimoh expressing his appreciation to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his efforts, contributions and follow-up since the flag-off of the exercise, urging the affected civil servants to get the necessary requirements in order to ensure a successful completion of this mop-up exercise.
