The Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Kwara State Chapter has aligned with the press release issued by the Local Government Service Commission by urging all the staff of the 16 Local Government Areas in the state to get registered with the Kwara State Residents Registration Agency with immediate effect.
NULGE is already in talks with the Local Government Service Commission to seek for a repeat of the registration exercise with the KWASRRA management across the 16 Local Government Areas.
This is to provide the last opportunity for those that are yet to register to do so.
The State Secretary of the NULGE Comrade Terry Henry, who spoke on behalf of the State President stated that any erring staff will not in any way get the backing of the State NULGE in the event of any sanction. He therefore advised those yet to be registered to earnestly do it in their own interest.
The Secretary appreciated His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his special interest and support to the Local Government Workers. He added that NULGE will remain supportive and reciprocate the good gestures of the State Government.
