The resolutions were contained in a communiqué issued at the end of the Forum's bi-weekly meeting held in Ilorin on Wednesday and presented by its Chairman, Hon. Sufyan Kayode Maritala, alongside the Secretary, Hon. Peter Akindele Oloruntoba, JP.
Addressing journalists after the meeting, Maritala declared that members of the Forum had unanimously endorsed President Tinubu's re-election bid, expressing confidence in the administration's Renewed Hope Agenda.
"The Forum reaffirms its unalloyed loyalty and total support for the re-election of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in 2027. We are convinced that the Renewed Hope Agenda is already producing positive results and that Nigeria will continue to witness greater progress under his leadership. Kwara State stands firmly behind Mr President."
The Forum also passed a vote of confidence in the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, describing his leadership as purposeful, inclusive and development-driven.
Maritala commended the Governor's handling of security, noting that collaborative efforts between the state government, security agencies and local communities had significantly enhanced peace across the state.
"We express our total satisfaction with the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. His administration has demonstrated unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property through strategic collaboration with security agencies, community policing initiatives, intelligence gathering and the provision of operational support. Today, Kwara remains one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria, allowing businesses and socio-economic activities to flourish across the sixteen local government areas."
The Forum further applauded the administration's achievements across critical sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, economic development and social investment.
According to the communiqué, the Governor's administration has recorded significant milestones through the construction and rehabilitation of roads, implementation of smart city initiatives, revitalisation of primary healthcare centres and general hospitals, provision of free health insurance for vulnerable residents, renovation of more than 600 public schools, payment of WAEC and NECO examination fees, improved access to UBEC and SUBEB intervention funds, as well as empowerment programmes such as Owo Arugbo and Owo Isowo, which it said had improved the livelihoods of thousands of beneficiaries.
The Forum, however, advised the Governor to broaden political appointments to ensure greater representation across all sixteen local government areas and wards.
"While we commend the Governor's outstanding performance, we respectfully urge him to further deepen inclusiveness by extending political appointments across all local government areas and wards. Such a step will strengthen party cohesion, reward loyalty and reinforce the APC structure ahead of future elections."
It also recommended the immediate appointment of Polling Unit Canvassers across the state.
"The appointment of Polling Unit Canvassers across every polling unit will significantly strengthen grassroots mobilisation, improve voter engagement and position the APC for overwhelming success in the 2027 General Elections."
The Forum congratulated Hon. Danladi Salihu Yakubu on his emergence as the APC Governorship Flagbearer for the 2027 election and hailed Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on securing the party's ticket for the Kwara Central Senatorial District.
Members equally celebrated the emergence of Hon. Oba Magaji Abdulkadri, Majority Leader of the Kwara State House of Assembly, as the APC candidate for Ilorin Central/Magaji Ngeri Constituency, describing his legislative contributions and empowerment initiatives as commendable.
Speaking further, Maritala praised Danladi Salihu Yakubu's leadership during his tenure as Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly.
"Hon. Danladi Salihu Yakubu distinguished himself during his period as Speaker through purposeful leadership and impactful contributions to legislative development and governance in Kwara State. His emergence as the party's governorship candidate is well deserved."
The Forum also commended the APC State Executive Committee under the leadership of Prince Sunday Fagbemi, saying the unity demonstrated by the party leadership contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the party's primaries.
It subsequently called on APC members across wards, constituencies, local government areas and the state to unite behind all party candidates.
"This is the time for every APC member to close ranks and work collectively for the success of our party. We urge members at every level to support Hon. Danladi Salihu Yakubu, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Hon. Oba Magaji Abdulkadri and all APC candidates across Kwara State."
The Forum also appealed to members of the G15 group within the party to embrace reconciliation and respect the supremacy of the APC.
"We appeal to all members of the G15 to place the collective interest of the party above every other consideration. Unity remains our greatest strength, and we encourage every stakeholder to work harmoniously with the Governor and the party leadership towards a resounding victory in 2027."
On voter participation, the Forum urged all eligible residents of Kwara State to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), stressing that active participation in the electoral process remains fundamental to sustaining democratic governance.
"We encourage every eligible Kwaran, whether indigenous or non-indigenous, to collect their Permanent Voter Cards before the deadline. Every vote matters, and every PVC remains a powerful instrument for strengthening democracy and sustaining development."
The communiqué further outlined a ten-point strategic framework for the APC ahead of the 2027 elections, including stronger internal reconciliation, enhanced grassroots mobilisation, greater youth and women's inclusion, effective communication of government achievements, intensified PVC collection campaigns, issue-based campaigns, wider stakeholder engagement, alignment with the Federal Government's Renewed Hope Agenda, early training of party agents and prompt post-primary reconciliation.
The Forum concluded by reaffirming its commitment to supporting Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Hon. Danladi Salihu Yakubu, Hon. Oba Magaji Abdulkadri and all APC candidates in Kwara State.
"We reaffirm our unalloyed loyalty and unwavering support for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Hon. Danladi Salihu Yakubu, Hon. Oba Magaji Abdulkadri and every APC candidate in Kwara State. Together, we remain committed to ensuring the continued progress, peace and prosperity of our state and the success of our great party in the 2027 General Elections."
