Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the 29th anniversary of his reign.
In a statement released today by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, on behalf of the state government, Governor Abdulrazaq highlighted the Emir’s role in advancing Ilorin's status, which has grown significantly in national relevance, population, and cultural harmony over nearly three decades.
Governor Abdulrazaq commended the Emir’s leadership, noting that under his stewardship, Ilorin has become more prominent with the emergence of landmarks and developmental strides across various sectors.
“We thank His Royal Highness for his strong leadership, his support for the people and government, and the grace with which he handles delicate matters of public importance,” the Governor said.
The Governor extended prayers for the Emir's continued good health, peace, and prosperity, asking that the monarch’s leadership be blessed in his later years.
