The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) held a significant decoration ceremony on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at its headquarters in Ilorin, celebrating the promotion of over 300 junior officers.
Commandant J.G. Mohammed commended the dedication of the newly promoted officers, recognizing their hard work and resilience in fulfilling the corps' mandate.
“These officers are the backbone of our operations, and their elevation is both recognition and a call to even greater service,” Commandant Mohammed stated, urging the officers to maintain their commitment and professionalism in addressing security challenges.
The Commandant expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Minister of Interior Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and Commandant-General Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi for their unwavering support, which he said has been instrumental to the command’s success.
