The Customs Area Controller, Kwara Area Command, Compt. FM Ojeifo urged officers deployed for the election in the state, slated for tomorrow 21st September, 2024 to remain apolitical.
Ojeifo, who stated this on Friday while addressing officers at the parade ground, also sound a note of warning to officers to shun bribery.
The Controller advised officers to be neutral and exhibit professionalism before, during and after the election.
"Our major responsible is to observe and compliment the Nigerian Police Force and other security agencies deployed for this assignment," he said.
He tasked officers to be responsible, diligent and be peaceful.
Ojeifo advised officers to be Unbiased, fair-minded and objective irrespective of political affiliation.
FACTUAL NAIJA NEWS reports that the Customs Kwara Area command deployed fifty officers across the length and breadth of the 16 local government areas for tomorrow's elections in the state.
