The news reaching FACTUAL NAIJA NEWS at this moment is that two bodies have been found by emergency personnel in the wreckage of a building that collapsed early Sunday in Lekki, Lagos State.
Ibrahim Farinloye, Zonal Coordinator South West, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) made this known to reporters in Lagos on Sunday.
Farinloye noted that the seven-storey building under construction collapsed at Oba Idowu Oniru Street, in Lekki area of the state.
He noted operations were ongoing to rescue the remaining trapped persons under the rubbles.
FACTUAL NAIJA NEWS gathered that emergency responders at the scene include the Nigerian Police Force, NEMA, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), State Fire Service and the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA).
