The News reaching FACTUAL NAIJA NEWS has it that Justice Christopher, a former Super Eagles player, has been laid to rest in Jos, Plateau State.
The former midfielder reportedly died on March 9, 2022, in his hotel in Gwolshe, near Tudunwada Ring Road, Jos, Plateau State.
His remains were initially deposited at the Plateau Specialists hospital pending an autopsy.
Christopher represented Nigeria at both the youth and senior levels, earning 11 caps for the Super Eagles between 2001 and 2002. He was a member of Nigeria’s squad for the 2002 FIFA World Cup finals in South Korea/Japan, appearing in the 0-0 tie against England at the Osaka Nagai Stadium.
He played domestically for Katsina United, Sharks FC, and Insurance FC before heading overseas to play for Antwerp FC (Belgium), Levski Sofia (Bulgaria), Trelleborgs FF (Sweden), Alania Vladikavkaz (Russia), and Herflge BK (Sweden) (Denmark). He joined Nasarawa United FC of Lafia in October 2012.
