The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Aspirant and Founder of ENACT, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, has declared his full support for the party's Kwara South Senatorial candidate, Prince Olalekan Adewoye, urging party members to unite behind all APC candidates to ensure victory in the forthcoming elections.
Prince Adewoye, who paid a courtesy visit to Engr. Adeyemi Balogun, was accompanied by the APC candidate for the Irepodun State Constituency, Hon. Akeweje Fafoluyi Olayinka, and Barrister Kayode Towoju, in a move aimed at strengthening party unity and consolidating support across Kwara South.
Speaking during the meeting, Engr. Adeyemi Balogun described the APC primary election as a family affair that produced a credible and worthy flag bearer. He noted that although the aspirants contested the party's ticket, they were all united by a common vision of advancing the development, prosperity, and political strength of Kwara South.
He stressed that with the primary now concluded, personal ambitions must give way to the collective interest of the party and the people, emphasizing that unity remains the APC's greatest asset as it prepares for the general election.
Expressing satisfaction that the APC ticket is in the hands of a fellow Igbomina son, Engr. Adeyemi Balogun declared, "One of us is better than none," adding that Prince Adewoye's emergence presents a unique opportunity for the district to speak with one voice and pursue greater development for its people.
He pledged his unwavering support for Prince Adewoye and all APC candidates, assuring them of his readiness to mobilise his supporters and collaborate with party leaders and stakeholders to secure a resounding victory for the APC across Kwara South and Kwara State.
Engr. Adeyemi Balogun further appealed to party faithful to embrace reconciliation, set aside all differences arising from the primary election, and work collectively for the success of the party. He maintained that only through unity, mutual respect, and a shared sense of purpose can the APC consolidate on its achievements and deliver greater dividends of democracy to the people of Kwara South and Kwara State.
