Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq heartily congratulates Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki on his appointment as the new Chief Imam Fulani of Ilorin Emirate.
In a statement on Wednesday night by Mashood Abdulrafiu Agbool, Deputy Chief Press Secretary, Governor AbdulRazaq commended the Emir of Ilorin Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR on the choice of the 42-year-old Sheikh Dasuki to assume such a big responsibility.
“The choice of a young and vibrant Azhari scholar as the new Chief Imam Fulani reflects the commitment of our community, which His Royal Highness symbolises, to continue to mobilise different demographies of the Muslim ummah for greater good and development,” the Governor says in the statement.
“I ask Allaah to guide and protect the new Chief Imam, perfect His blessings upon him, and give him long life and good health in the service of the ummah. I also urge everyone to rally round the new Chief Imam in the overall interest of our community.”
