The Chairman of the Owa-Kajola Community Development Association, Elder Kayode Adeboye, on behalf of the good people of Owa-Kajola town, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Prince Olumide Ogunbiyi on his emergence and official inauguration as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman of Ile-Ire Ward, held on Monday, 16th March 2026.
This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday through the Community’s Public Relations Officer, AbdulHafeez T. Oyewole, wherein the Chairman described the emergence as a well-deserved reward for years of loyalty, dedication, patience, and unwavering commitment to the party, as well as to the people of Owa-Kajola and Ile-Ire at large.
The statement further noted that Prince Ogunbiyi has amply demonstrated his capacity for leadership, having previously served as President of the Owa-Kajola Youth Association and presently serves as Secretary of the Community Development Association. In these roles, his leadership qualities were distinguished by service, humility, and an unyielding readiness to stand with the people in both favourable and challenging circumstances.
“As you assume this important and well-deserved responsibility, we are confident that you will lead with wisdom, fairness, and a strong sense of responsibility, in a manner that justifies the confidence reposed in you by the good people of Ile-Ire Ward,” the statement read.
The Chairman further expressed confidence that Prince Ogunbiyi will continue to promote unity, drive meaningful progress, and strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
He concluded with prayers for divine guidance and success, expressing the hope that his tenure will usher in growth, unity, and greater advancement for the party, the Owa-Kajola community, and the entirety of Ile-Ire Ward.
