All the seven construction workers recently kidnapped in Owa Onire community of Ifelodun have regained their freedom.
A today's statement by Press Secretary, State Ministry of Works, Olajide Abolarin states that the Commissioner for Works, Engr. Abdulquawy Olododo, confirmed their freedom on Monday morning.
He commended the efforts of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the security forces to strengthen public safety and rid the state of bandits and terrorists.
The abductees included two engineers of the State Ministry of Works.
“We are grateful to His Excellency and to the security agencies. We also appreciate everyone who stood by us in this trying times,” the Commissioner said in the statement.
