According to the Honourable Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engineer Abdulquawiy Olododo, the road will remain accessible to traffic, but diversions will be introduced as the project progresses.
"Motorists and commuters should expect some congestion and are encouraged to drive with caution, exercise patience, and cooperate with traffic management personnel deployed to maintain order and ensure smooth vehicular flow," a statement issued today by the Press Secretary, Ministry of Works and Transport, Olajide Abolarin said.
“We understand the inconvenience this may cause and deeply appreciate the public’s cooperation,” said Engineer Olododo. “This project is pivotal for enhancing the road’s economic value and improving overall connectivity which is integral to the urban renewal agenda of his Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. We are committed to completing the work swiftly and effectively.”
