In the spirit of Christmas, Helping Hands Africa, a renowned non-profit organisation has commenced distribution of food items for to the Christians in Ilorin.
The programme, which took place at the Moriyanu Prayer Ground, Agbabiaka aimed to bring joy and relief to the less privileged persons of society.
The distribution exercise to the beneficiaries such as widows and other vulnerable individuals was led by the country's Acting coordinator, Ogbeni Hammed Adedayo Said.
Adedayo, who said the selection of beneficiaries was carefully done, expressed his gratitude to God for the opportunity to make a positive impact during the festive season
He emphasised the importance of lending a helping hand to those in need.
He also appreciated the donors for their consistent support.
The empowerment programme involved the distribution of essential items and provisions to assist the beneficiaries in their daily lives.
The carefully selected portions of the community received food items, clothing, and other necessities, ensuring that they could celebrate Christmas with dignity and comfort.
"The success of the programme would not have been possible without the collective efforts of Helping Hands Africa's dedicated volunteers and the generosity of donors who contributed to the cause.
"Their selfless contributions played a vital role in bringing smiles to the faces of many individuals and families during the holiday season," Adebayo said.
