Educators of Dreams
(For: every teacher dead or alive world over)
By: Abdulhafeez T. Oyewole
In our teachers, we take pride,
Without them, we'd be lost, nowhere to hide.
With their guidance, we find our way,
They shape our minds, night and day.
Our destiny, it's clear to see,
Rests upon their tutelage, the key.
What we achieve, who we aspire to be,
Is a reflection of their legacy.
Through the paths of life, we tread,
Their wisdom and care, like a thread,
Weaving through our journey's map,
Their influence, like a mentor's tap.
Our future's mold, they patiently craft,
Laying foundations that forever last.
Turning dreams into reality's light,
They champion knowledge, day and night.
Despite the challenges, the nation's weight,
Teachers educate, their mission's great.
They fuel ambition, light the fire,
In the hearts and minds of every desire.
To be a teacher, a noble role,
To have one, is to reach a higher goal.
They make all professions come alive,
Their dedication, we must recognize.
Respect for teachers, let it be known,
They're more than employees, like family, they've grown.
In our children's lives, they play a part,
Guiding with love, they nurture the heart.
Teachers don't teach for wealth or gold,
Their passion for learning, they've always told.
It's the outcome, the growth, the bloom,
In their students' hearts, there's room.
Gratitude to the teachers, every single one,
Your hard work and love, second to none.
Celebrate you not just today,
But every day, we'll always say.
