The World football governing body FIFA has showered praise on Cameroon national team captain Vincent Aboubakar, after he sets a new record in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
The former FC Porto star has been exceptional for the Indomitable Lion of Cameroon since the beginning of the tournament, and his excellent performance has never gone unnoticed.
The 29 years old was at his best for the team again on Saturday evening, as he came from the bench to score two late goals in his team's comeback victory.
Vincent Aboubakar's impressive goal scoring form for Cameroon national team started with a brace against Burkina Faso national team, he also scored two goals against Ethiopia national team and he scored a goal each against Cape Verde and Comoros, before scoring another brace against Burkina Faso on Saturday night.
His excellent performance in the tournament has helped the Cameroon Team to win the Bronze medal in this year's edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Reacting after Vincent Aboubakar set the new record, FIFA posted on their verified Twitter handle on Sunday morning that;
